The first and most important improvement is the elimination of the metal rivet
\nwhich allowed the CB3000’s base ring to hinge open. In long term wear this
\nrivet, regardless of the orientation (facing inward or outward) would chafe the
\nskin at the base of the cock and behind the balls. Thankfully, the CB6000’s base
\nring is a solid piece of plastic which has eliminated this irritation. Since the
\nbase ring does not swing open, the ring is closed using a two piece,
\ninterlocking?plastic bridge. While this bridge does make the CB6000 slightly
\nmore difficult to assemble, the long term benefits make it well worth the extra
\neffort. Warning, if you?do not shave, be careful not to get any hair caught
\nbetween the pieces of the interlocking bridge and base ring during assembly.
\nWhile the CB6000S is 3\/4 of an inch shorter than the CB6000, my experience?is
\nthat it provides sufficient space when completely flaccid and the reduced length
\nprovides two important benefits. First, the smaller volume will choke off any
\nattempted?erection earlier in the cycle. This proves to be less painful
\nbecause?it reduces the?force exerted from the base ring on balls to hold back
\nthe unauthorized?erection. Second, the shorter cage?fits and moves more?freely
\nwhen wearing?tighter pants and jeans making it easier to walk and sit naturally.
\nFinally, an additional “benefit” (from the keyholders point of view) is
\nthe?repositioning of the ventilation holes. On the CB3000, these holes were on
\nthe top and bottom of the cage?which allowed for some limited pleasurable
\nstimulation. On the CB6000, these openings have been moved to the sides thus
\npreventing even that limited relief. Overall, the CB6000 is proving to be more
\ncomfortable for long term usage.<\/p>\n
