Happy Samhain<\/h3>\n

Tomorrow is Halloween, a wonderful holiday otherwise known as Samhain (sow-en) to modern pagans.It is a Sabbat to honor the ancestors that came before us. It is a good time to contact the spirit world though a seance . The veil between the worlds is very thin on Samhain and I will be attending a seance tomorrow night hoping to contact loved ones departed. So in other words, I will not be taking calls tomorrow night. It’s a good time to wrap things up and let go of baggage from the past 12 months.<\/p>\n

Day Of The Dead<\/h3>\n

Latin America celebrates day of the dead which is an extended Halloween, the 31st, and 1st and 2nd of November. This holiday went all the way back to the Aztecs. Ancestral worship is alive and well in Latin America. Altars, offerings of sugar sculls, marigolds, and past possessions are offered to ancestors in these areas. I love tradition and rituals.<\/p>\n

Cocktoberfest Chat<\/h3>\n

LDW has the “Cocktoberfest” for the past few years. Tonight is the chat and many have participated ?in scary fiction cockteasing<\/a> blog posts. ?I’ll try to contribute next year. I’m already thinking of a story of a Sorceress greeting you into her tent surrounded by Datura plants…hahaha. Oh sure, she has cocklocks<\/a> made of Jadeite and Obsidian somehow convincing you into a chastity training<\/a> ritual.
