In Search Of The Submissive Male<\/h4>\n
Many men have isolated submissive fantasies. Many of these men fetishize and become slave to these fantasies. I think that many, if not most, men who describe themselves as submissive and who seek a dominant woman are this type of “submissive.” They want a woman to give them an outlet for their fetish. They are selfish and really don’t care about the woman’s needs. A Femdom<\/a> can spend a lifetime in search of the submissive male.<\/div>\n

The Sexualization Of A Woman’s Strength<\/h4>\n

A man may admire a certain quality in a woman because it’s “strong.” He may have an admiration for this, and it makes the woman more attractive. This is only natural, and both sexes do this.?The man may describe this type of woman as “spunky” or something similar.?It may be that the man feels that the woman’s “strength” compensates for a perceived weakness in himself. Whatever the reason for his admiration, he sexualizes the?woman’s “strength.”?It is easy to go from there to a limited femdom dynamic. This femdom dynamic may even be one of the main reasons that the man forms a relationship with the woman.<\/div>\n

D\/s Games<\/h4>\n
?Outsiders may view the man as being “henpecked” or “pussy-whipped.” Eventually, the man may?no longer find the woman’s “strength” appealing, and he may dump the “dominant” woman for a submissive<\/a> woman. It is also possible that the man never dumps the dominant woman. But this type of relationship is not a true femdom relationship. A truly dominant woman would probably not really be satisfied with this type of man. He is not really submissive, and the woman only gets to be dominant in certain situations, or the couple fights constantly over dominance, with neither giving in.<\/div>\n

I suspect that many “submissive” men are a combination of the above two types. I suspect that a truly dominant woman may be susceptible to forming a long-term relationship with a man that is a combination of both types, with the woman thinking that she has found a compatible partner, only to eventually find that the man really wants a submissive woman as a long-term partner.<\/div>\n

Chivalry Or FLR<\/h4>\n
Some men may like to treat their women as “queens” or “princesses,” catering to their every whim. A true femdom relationship should have this dynamic. But a relationship that has this dynamic is not necessarily femdom. The man may be very dominant and believe very strongly in traditional gender roles. This type of relationship is really more chivalrous than it is femdom. From what I know, I think there are many male-dominated, chivalrous relationships like this that qualify as FLR. The woman is getting what she wants, so it’s FLR. I think there are some “dominant” women who want this type of relationship. They are “twisting the man around their little finger” with their femininity, so they are “dominant” and the man is “submissive.” I don’t consider these women to be truly dominant or these men to be truly submissive, and I don’t consider these chivalrous relationships to be femdom.<\/div>\n

There are relationships where the man is a combination of all three of the above types. This may work for a truly dominant woman. She may feel fulfilled as a dominant woman.<\/a> But she probably isn’t because she still is not with a truly submissive man.<\/div>\n
