Japan has a tradition of the scariest ghost stories anywhere. I put Kwaidan on My wishlist, and I vote it the most disturbing I have seen. New horror has made the scene into the Japanese genre, but this is classic. Check My wishlist and click on the movie to get information about it. If you are into Japanese ghosts, here you find  the ghosts of the Heike and Genji clans at the battle of Don-ura. My favorite chapter in the movie though is “The Black Hair”, based on the ghost Oiwa, a female ghost. In Japan, a female ghost is the most malevolent and vengeful. It makes much sense because of the status of Japanese females through history. While you are viewing the selection, just buy it for Mistress.I would love it. Another selection I put on the list is The Realm of the Senses. Unless you like male castration and dismemberment don’t bother. Lol, it’s a true story, omg those Japanese…ummmmm.
