Tonight I may finally get the time to see “Sukiyaki Western Django”. This is directed by cult director Takeshi Miike. I had it on while organizing and this movie is so over the top. Quentin Tarantino plays a gunslinger in this parody of the Genji and Heike feud. Hilarious dialog, lots of blood with swords and Rambo guns, serious Japanese male eye candy (one looked like a goth boy with a piercing below the lip), tons of classical Yakuza tats, philosophical samurai premise, and I will give a review tomorrow after I see it.
